Dr. Rebecca Craik, dean of the College of Health Sciences, was featured in PT in Motion News for her role in the completion of the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) rehabilitation research plan on Dec. 13.

The NIH blue ribbon panel, which Dr. Craik co-chairs, created the five-year plan, which is “a comprehensive reset of approaches and priorities that supporters believe will help to power up investigations into restoring function.”

NIH hopes that by investing in research, the plan will lead to better understanding of diseases and conditions that will then enable better patient care.
