Dr. Hsin-Hau (Cathy) Lee, assistant professor of Psychology, and Bethany Wentz ’18M, Counseling graduate student, published “Evaluation of a Pilot School-Based Group for Mandarin-Speaking Minors” in the International Journal for the Advancement of Counseling.

The article examines Mandarin-speaking, Chinese international high school students— many of whom are minors, living unaccompanied by their parents— who attended an international student support group. Dr. Lee and Wentz examined whether the group assisted their transition to American society and a new academic system.
