Arcadia University Responds to Supreme Court Travel Ban Decision
Arcadia University is an institution that subscribes to the imperative that teaching and learning must include the global perspectives and experiences provided by scholars, students, and staff from all regions and nations of our world. Arcadia University is deeply disappointed with the United States Supreme Court’s decision to uphold a White House initiative to ban individuals from seven countries from entering the U.S.
The contributions of these scholars are vital in creating an environment that includes a diverse range of intellectual and cultural perspectives. Restricting access to the U.S. undermines Arcadia’s core values and is antithetical to our global mission. We reaffirm that Arcadia remains a University where scholars and students from around the world are welcome, and an institution that respects the diversity of all of its community members.
