Arcadia Dress Sale to Help Covenant House

By Caitlin T. Burns | November 15, 2019

Arcadia will be collecting gently used dresses beginning Dec. 4 for the University’s inaugural dress sale to benefit area high school students. By donating your gently worn prom and semi-formal dresses, you’re helping students have affordable quality dresses that make them feel special on their special night. Additionally, proceeds from the sale will go to The Covenant House, a non-profit organization that provides shelter and support services for homeless and displaced adolescents.

Bring your dress back to campus after the Thanksgiving holiday and donate it from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays in designated locations in Grey Towers Castle and Student Affairs (located on the top floor of the Commons by the elevator). Donations will be accepted through January, and should be:

  • Recently cleaned
  • Less than seven years old
  • Short or long dresses.

The dress sale will take place over two weekends: Friday, Feb. 21 to Sunday, Feb. 23 and Friday, Feb. 28 to Sunday, March 1.
