Hi! My name is Emily Falcon and I’m a junior at Duke University. I’m a Linguistics major and
Education minor hoping to become a Speech-Language Pathologist sometime in the future.
Apart from my core courses, I also enjoy taking classes focusing on cultural practices and
religion. In my free time, I enjoy reading and visiting gardens and museums. I live in Charlotte,
North Carolina, but will be spending the coming Fall 2019 semester as a Direct Enrollment
student in Perugia, Italy. Throughout these blogs, I hope to document my experiences in Italy as
a student and (hopefully, by the end) a local! A presto!
