A Look Into the Career of Fashion Designer Emil de John
Emil de John
Often regarded as the kindest man in fashion, Emil de John will be coming to give a presentation about his life, work experiences, and how to work in the fashion industry. Emil grew up in South Philly and has served as a faculty member at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. He has noted, “Even if I made a cheesesteak hoagie, I made it look like a work of art.” Over his 50+ year career, Emil has worked with everyone from Betsy Johnson to Oscar de la Renta and Anna Wintour. This event is open university wide. Refreshments will be provided! If you have any questions, please email Jonathan Cassidy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
