By Caitlin Burns | May 3, 2017

Dr. Christina Brown, associate professor of Psychology, and Psychology and Sociology major Greta Diem ’17 presented “Promoting Political Change” at the 89th annual meeting of the Midwestern Psychological Association in Chicago from April 20 to 22.

“Promoting Political Change” is a political psychology paper that discusses creating interventions to prevent bipartisan gridlock. Brown and Diem’s research suggests that thinking of change as a positive experience helps increase support for progressive initiatives across the political spectrum.
