Post-grad plans: I plan to work for a couple years and then apply for a master’s degree in Scotland.
*NJ received the Johnston Family Award in Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice at this year’s Honors Convocation. The award is given to an undergraduate student in a sociology, anthropology, or criminal justice course who demonstrates excellence in cross-cultural research and writing. According to the faculty who nominated her, “Her senior thesis explores the many definitions and experiences of home by indigenous and transplanted populations. She uses a critical and innovative lens to understanding the human conditions around the globe.”
