I grew up in Philadelphia and attended Temple University for my Bachelors degree, during which time, I participated in two study abroad semesters (Norwich, UK and Montpellier, France). After finishing my Undergraduate degree, I worked for several years in the Philadelphia area, mainly in communications and administrative roles for General Accident Insurance, Harcourt College Publishers, Kenexa, Inc., and KPMG. I relocated to the UK in 2004 and began a career in Higher Education administration in Cardiff, Wales, where I worked until 2018. In the last few years, I have done graduate work in Medieval British Studies in Cardiff and Secondary Education in Philadelphia.
