Dr. Pradyumna Chauhan, professor of English, spoke on “The Forms of Poetic Excellence” at the Diaspora Writing Award Ceremony (“diaspora” refers to the dispersion of people from their ancestral homeland). The ceremony, held Oct. 10 in Jenkintown by the Gardi Research Institute for Diaspora Studies, honored Philadelphia-area Gujarati poet Panna Naik.
