Available for all students and alumni of Arcadia University, The College of Global Studies, and Beaver College.
The Office of the Registrar can provide you with either printed or electronic versions of your transcript. You also have the option of obtaining an unofficial or official transcript.
Unofficial transcripts are available to current Arcadia students free of charge. Most students access them directly through their Self-Service account, without making a request from our office. Students not currently enrolled at Arcadia may order an unofficial transcript printed on plain paper for $5 per transcript.
Official transcripts are available to students and alumni for a fee. The cost per transcript depends on the method of delivery.
How to Order Your Transcript
For your convenience, there are three different ways to order your transcript:
Delivery: Electronic, within two working days. A link is emailed to the email address you specify in your request.
Online via TranscriptsPlus™ or by Phone:1-800-646-1858. There is a $10 (increasing to $15 effective 20 November 2017) surcharge to place your request by phone through an operator, unless you're in the middle of a website request and are calling for technical assistance.
Fees and Delivery:
For $5, your order will be processed within three working days then a printed transcript will be mailed or held in our office for pickup.
For $12, your order will be processed within one working day then mailed or held in our office for pickup.
By Transcript Request Form (hard copies are available in the Office of the Registrar): Use this form to order unofficial transcripts. Simply print and complete the form, and enclose your payment. (Make checks payable to "Arcadia University".)
Fee: $5 per transcript. (Unofficial transcripts are free for current students.)
Delivery: Processed within three working days, then mailed. Rush delivery options are available for an additional cost.
Registrar's Office Hours and Transcript Processing
The Office of the Registrar monitors and processes transcript requests ONLY during our normal business hours:
Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Fall and Spring)
Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Between semesters, Spring Break)
Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Year round)
The office is closed on Saturday and Sunday, as well as major holidays.
Our vendors, Credentials Inc. (TranscriptsPlus™) and the National Clearinghouse, accept transcript orders on their secured sites, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Student Accounts / Payment
Transcripts will not be processed without appropriate payment, or if there is a Business Office or Library Hold on your student account. If your account is still on hold 30 days after we receive your transcript request, your order is cancelled.
For transcripts cancelled after 30 days due to account hold(s):
If you paid for your transcript by check, cash, or money order, the payment will be applied to the amount due on your Arcadia student account.
If you paid for your transcript by credit card, your credit card will not be charged.
Unofficial Transcript Processing
Unofficial transcripts are printed on plain paper. Processing occurs within three working days of receipt of the request. Then the document is either sent via U.S.P.S. mail, held in our office for pickup, or scanned to PDF and emailed.
FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)
In accordance with federal privacy regulations, requests for academic records made by third parties on behalf of the student will not be processed.
Transcript Recipient Information
You are responsible for indicating the correct email and/or mailing address for the person(s) who should receive your transcript.
