Dr. Hsin Hua (Cathy) Lee has been a faculty member at Arcadia since 2014.  Prior to joining Arcadia, Dr. Lee obtained a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology.  Her clinical experiences include providing consultation and psychotherapy to various age groups in settings such as school-based outpatient services, community mental health, VA and other hospitals, as well as college counseling centers.  Dr. Lee's research interests currently focus on immigration/acculturation related issues, international students’ adjustment and career development, and mental health issues among Asian-American families. In addition, she is interested in issues related to women's identity, social justice work, and counselor training and supervision.   Aside from teaching, conducting research, and mentoring students at Arcadia, Dr. Lee is active in private practice, serving primarily couples, family, and individuals of Asian-American decent who struggle with immigration/identity related concerns and other mental health issues.
