The University’s Creative Expression Art Outreach (CEAO) board put their artistic skills to work by painting Blossom Philadelphia’s community rooms on March 24.

Board members Elizabeth Thornton ’20, Casey Donavan ’20, Nisha Prajapati ’20, and Alyson Nagel ’20 worked eight hours painting the columns of the community rooms and a mural on one wall.

“In my opinion, this is the character and spirit we want to nurture and recognize in our students,” said Adjunct Professor Linda Ruth Paskell ’81, ’96M.Ed., who advises the CEAO board. “The board is composed of devoted, tenacious, hard-working women with hearts of gold and creative vision. They were full of joy and pride and commitment towards completing their promise to Blossom.”

Blossom Philadelphia, previously known as United Cerebral Palsy, is a nonprofit organization working to help people with disabilities create the lives they want to live.
