Elizabeth Outten, assistant professor of the physician assistant program, has had her Quick Recertification Series article on “Anorexia Nervosa” in adolescents accepted for publication in the Journal of the American Association of Physician Assistants.

Additionally, Outten and Lori Felker, both assistant professors at the Christiana campus, gave a lecture on “OSCE as a Summative Evaluation in the Clinical Phase” at the National Physician Assistant Education Association’s annual conference in Philadelphia, Pa. in October. They discussed methods to evaluate clinical reasoning skills in senior physician assistant students, using real-life medical scenarios, and standardized patients in preparation for their national certification.
