Dr. Jodi Bornstein, associate professor of Education, and Alexis Roach ’19 presented “Let’s Circle-up! Practicing Community Building in the Higher Education Classroom” at West Chester University’s Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Conference on Jan. 19. The session focused on creating collaborative and supportive classroom communities in higher education.

The session shared many of the same community engagement theories which led to the development of the Curriculum Lab in Landman Library. The lab is led by Dr. Bornstein and Melissa Correll, faculty librarian for Education.
