Arcadia University to Welcome LEAP Intern from Japan

Arcadia University has been selected for the fourth year in a row to host a Long-term Educational Administration Program (LEAP) intern from Japan. The University will welcome Ai Chuman from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) in mid-October. She is one of nine 2011-12 LEAP Interns in university placements.

Other participating universities include Northeastern University, University of Tennessee–Knoxville, New York University, Colorado State University, Northern Arizona University, University of California–Berkeley, University of Minnesota, and University of North Carolina–Charlotte. In addition, this year there are two art placements at the Japan Society and Scottsdale Public Art.

Amanda Zimmerman, Lindy Black-Margida and Dr. Dennis Dutschke, from The College of Global Studies, will administer the LEAP internship at Arcadia.
