Eight new Adirondack chairs now circle Haber Green, just in time for the temperature to inch back up into the 60s over the weekend. Not exactly warm enough for suntanning, but plenty comfortable for curling up and reading a book or taking a break from activities on the field.

“Celebrate the last gasp of summer…” says Arcadia University President Carl (Tobey) Oxholm III.  “They’ll be stored for the winter, when it comes … but in the meantime … enjoy!”

The idea for the chairs came from Student Government Organization class officers at a brunch hosted by President and Kim Oxholm at the President’s Home.

“They fold up for easy storage this winter,” adds Tom Macchi, Associate Vice President for Capital Planning and Facilities Management.
