10 Knights Named to Winter MAC Academic Honor Roll

The Middle Atlantic Conference announced its Winter Academic Honor Roll, which notes academic excellence by student-athletes. Ten Arcadia University winter sport student-athletes were recognized for outstanding academic excellence.

The Honor Roll is composed of student-athletes of sophomore class standing or higher who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 (4.00 scale) or higher and completed the playing season in good standing.

Women’s Basketball and Women’s Swimming both placed four on this year’s academic team, while Men’s Basketball placed two.

Christine Taylor ’12, Psychology major; Ashley Gripper ’12, Business major; Jackie Law ’13, English major; and Keara McLaughlin ’14, Psychology major, represent the women’s basketball program.

Arielle Fry ’13, History major; Katherine Nagy ’14, Graphic Design major; Lindsay Mills ’13, Honors student and Secondary Education major; and Kayla Kroll ’12, Honors student and Biology and Psychology double major, represent the women’s swim program.

Colin McCarthy ’12, Elementary Education major, and Mike Fitzpatrick ’14, Print Communications major, from the men’s basketball team round out the Knights’ honorees.
