The American University of Rome hosted “Transnational Organized Crime: Italian Connections,” a conference that was held on Nov. 23 and 24. Professors Alberto Corbino and Vasiliki Kynourgiopoulou of the Mediterranean Center of Arts and Sciences in Sicily made presentations on fighting the mafia and art crimes, respectively.
