Through Grant, Lessard to Lead Study on Impact of Alternate Payment Options for Medical Bills

In August, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation awarded a $150,000 grant to Arcadia University to study the impact of participation in CarePayment, a national patient financial engagement company that allows individuals and families to pay medical bills over time without interest. Assistant Professor of Community and Global Public Health, Laura Lessard, Ph.D., M.P.H. is co-leading the study, which will run through August 2015, with Julie Solomon, Ph.D., of J. Solomon Consulting, LLC..
