Celebrate Dr. Seuss Day in Grey Towers Castle on Feb. 22

Arcadia University’s Office of Community Service is celebrating Dr. Seuss Day on Sunday, Feb. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Grey Towers Castle with a Dr. Seuss Day event. Children in grades K-3 accompanied by an adult are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day of activities including bingo, face painting, storytelling, button making, obstacle courses, memory games, and freeze dancing.

Students, faculty, and staff can participate by volunteering with the children (a variety of positions are available) or by making a Dr. Seuss themed cake for a cake decorating competition.

The Dr. Seuss event was established in honor of Jami Rodriguez, an Arcadia alumna, and continues in her memory. The event is free but donations are accepted and will go toward the Jami Rodriguez Scholarship, which recognizes the contributions current full-time undergraduates have made to campus life through dedication to community service.
