Shah Joins the Department of Physical Therapy, Conducts Research for National Institutes of Health Funded Project

The Department of Physical Therapy welcomes Dr. Kshamata Shah, a post-doctoral researcher who will be working on a National Institutes of Health-funded project titled “Neurophysiology of Rotator Cuff Weakness.” Dr. Shah received her physical therapy training from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Mumbai, India and her Ph.D. in Movement Science from Washington University in St. Louis, where her work focused on upper extremity biomechanics in individuals with diabetes mellitus.
