For the 10th year, assistant director of the forensic science program Kimberlee Moran organized a paper symposium before the 81st annual meeting of the Society of American Archeology in Orlando, Fla., from April 6 to 10.

Moran opened the symposium with an update of current issues within forensic science and crime scene processing standards. During the symposium, eight papers presented on topics that included: discussing the human rights of missing persons; training programs in archaeological damage and looting investigations; the surveying of forensic archaeologists, and their relationship with law enforcement.
