Atkins Assesses State of Biased Media in New Book

By Caitlin Burns | August 17, 2016

Larry Atkins, adjunct professor of journalism, assesses the state of the media and the biases they present in his new book, Skewed: A Critical Thinker’s Guide to Media Bias. Released on Aug. 16, the book provides tools for the reader to critique media and better analyze the biases presented as objective news.

Acclaimed by media educators and academics, it is already being hailed as a must-read for journalism students– and some are even saying for the general public.

“This is information that is relevant to anyone who believes in liberty and aspires to live in a just, tranquil, and prosperous society,” said George Miller, adjunct professor at Temple University, in a review.

Skewed can be purchased on Amazon.
