Dr. Suneet Chauhan ’79 Presents on Paradigm and Pregnancy

On Tuesday, Oct. 25, Suneet Chauhan ’79, M.D. visited Arcadia to meet with and speak to pre-med students regarding the medical industry, medical school options, and how to balance life and work in the medical field. He then presented a lecture, “Philosophy 101: Paradigm and Pregnancy,” to nearly 100 guests about his research work in childbirth and how his time at Arcadia shaped his career. Dr. Chauhan stressed the importance of having passion for a career, and how that can propel you to strive to be your best.

Dr. Chauhan is a professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center’s McGovern Medical School. After earning his bachelor’s degree at Arcadia, Dr. Chauhan graduated from Thomas Jefferson University Medical College, served his residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, and completed a fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
