Drs. Bartoli, Lee Present at PA Counseling Conference, Cain-Baxter Accepts Outstanding Student Award

Arcadia University’s Psychology Department was well-represented at the 48th Annual Pennsylvania Counseling Association (PCA) Fall Conference on Nov. 12.

Dr. Eleonora Bartoli, associate professor and director of Psychology, and Dr. Cathy Lee, assistant professor of Psychology, participated in “Creative Strategies for Engaging Students and Enhancing Counselor Training Programs,” a panel discussion for the Pennsylvania Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. Drs. Bartoli and Lee presented on innovative pedagogy, including comprehensive, self-care curriculum for graduate Counseling students.

Additionally, Lauren Cain-Baxter, a graduate student in Arcadia’s Counseling program, received this year’s Pennsylvania Counseling Association Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Presented annually at the PCA Conference, this award recognizes individuals who show excellent potential and professionalism as graduate students within the psychology field.
