Dr. Amy Cox, assistant professor of Historical and Political Studies and director of the International Peace Conflict Resolution (IPCR) program, has been appointed to the Leadership Council of Better Angels. The Council stated that Dr. Cox’s work as director of IPCR was a deciding factor for her appointment.

Better Angels is a network of organizations collaborating to reunite America by improving society’s approach to conflict. As a member of the Leadership Council, Dr. Cox will work for change, for citizen education and leadership training, and to recommend policy reforms.

Better Angels will conduct a One Nation Tour, which Dr. Cox will bring to Arcadia in late summer or early fall. For more information, visit Better Angels.
