Frame Named 2017 Montgomery County Poet Laureate

The Montgomery County Poet Laureate Program (MCPL) has named Chad Frame ’16MFA, adjunct professor of English, as its 2017 Montgomery County Poet Laureate. Frame will hold the title until April 1, 2018.

Frame’s work has appeared in many literary magazines, including decomP, Menacing Hedge, Mobius: The Journal of Social Change, and Prick of the Spindle. His work was nominated for Best of the Net 2016 and The Best Small Fictions 2017.

As Poet Laureate, Frame will work with MCPL’s Executive Director Joanne Leva to develop a series of literary programs around the county, including readings, workshops, and community projects. Frame received the award at a ceremony on Saturday, April 1 at Rosemont College.
