Genetic Counseling students and faculty gathered at Talen Energy Stadium on Oct. 22 in support of breast cancer awareness. The event, during a Philadelphia Union soccer game, benefited Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE), whose mission is to raise awareness of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer and to improve support for impacted families.

“The stadium was adorned with breast cancer banners, and numerous attendees came clad in pink beanies,” said Colleen Kennedy ’20, who helped organize the event. “I’m from Missouri, so the event was a neat way to explore more Philly culture while supporting breast cancer advocacy.”
