Arcadia inducted 17 graduate students into Alpha Epsilon Lambda (AEL), a national honor society promoting academic excellence for graduate students, during a ceremony on April 18.

The ceremony also welcomed a new executive committee for the Phi chapter of the AEL, which includes: Shamaa Vora ’18M, president; Bethany Wentz ’18M, vice president; Erica Hartmann ’18M, community volunteer director; Jaclyn Hudak ’18MEd, liaison to other chapters, and Keysha Jackson ’17M, secretary. Arcadia’s AEL Phi chapter was founded in 1996.

AEL is the first and only academic honors society exclusively devoted to graduate students.
