The Arcadia Athletics Department has been raising money since Hurricane Harvey hit the Gulf Coast in order to send a cohort to Houston to help with the recovery efforts. The Knights landed in Houston yesterday morning and have begun helping those recover and rebuild. The group consists of two full-time staff members and eight student-athletes.
 
Over the course of the collection period, the department has raised $4,246.26, which will be used to cover the cost of sending the cohort to Houston. If any remaining funds are left, the department will donate that to aid in the recovery efforts.
