Join the Arcadia community for “The Art of the Syllabus: Global Art, Local Heart,” which will showcase the creative expression of community service. The event will be in the Thrall Gallery in the Spruance Fine Arts Building on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 3:30 to 6 p.m.

Students in “The Artist in the Community” University Seminar have worked with individuals experiencing homelessness at St. Raymond’s House, inner city children at Parkway Northwest High School For Peace and Justice, and people with developmental disabilities at Blossom Philadelphia to develop art projects that build skills, encourage confidence, and provide social activity. Their projects will culminate in this exhibition.
