Computer science students Muhhamad Moiz Saeed ’20 and Alexandr Chebatarev ’22 participated in the Jefferson Health Hack, a Hackathon hosted by Thomas Jefferson University on Nov. 1 to 3.

Teams of students were presented with issues relating to healthcare and technology and were required to present innovative solutions to their topics. Chebatarev’s team won the “Health by Zipcode” track, which examined health disparities between neighborhoods in Philadelphia, and brainstormed possible solutions to improve barriers between patients and their healthcare providers.
