Computer Science majors Maya Sierra ‘20, Teresa Ontiveros ‘20, and Thach Phung ‘20 took their educational Capstone on the road and helped teach Robotics to several local middle and high schools in the Philadelphia area.

The students, along with Dr. Yanxia Jia, associate professor and chair of Computer Science and Mathematics, offered 10 computer science sessions to Cheltenham High School, New Foundation High School, New Foundation Middle School, and Community Academy of Philadelphia.

Another Capstone group also planned for similar visits to the schools to teach about programs that create designs to be used in embroidery machines, but were unable to due to COVID-19.
