Brigette A. Bryant, vice president for Development and Alumni Engagement at Arcadia University has been awarded the prestigious Charles A. Wright Opportunity and Inclusion Leadership Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

Each year, CASE District II presents its Achievement Awards, recognizing the best practices in advancement as well as the outstanding people who contribute to the growth and understanding of the advancement profession. The Charles A. Wright Opportunity and Inclusion Leadership Award honors leaders in the industry whose commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion transcends their institution.

“The efforts of one person can be so staggering and can truly make a difference in how our profession and community embraces diversity and inclusion.” noted the judges of Bryant’s contributions. “Under Brigette’s leadership as Co-Chair to the Opportunity & Inclusion Committee for District II, she advanced CASE’s ongoing efforts in diversity on behalf of our profession while simultaneously implementing meaningful programs designed to provide opportunities to lift up the awareness and visibility of underrepresented communities and professionals within our industry.”

Bryant’s steadfast efforts to identify, recruit, and retain underrepresented professionals to the advancement industry and her advocacy as a member of CASE’s Opportunity & Inclusion Committee strengthens the fabric of the entire advancement profession.

Bryant will formally accept the 2021 Charles A. Wright Opportunity and Inclusion Leadership Award during the virtual CASE District II Awards Celebration and Ceremony on Thursday, April 15. During this event, Arcadia’s Division of University Advancement will also be recognized for gold and bronze District II Accolade Awards received earlier this year for the success of the Jones Poundstone Society (JPS).
