Arcadia Again Exceeds Philanthropic Targets

With support from the entire community, Arcadia University exceeded its philanthropic targets for a second year—doubling its achievement since fiscal year 2019.

The Arcadia University community came together to donate more than $4 million in the 2021 fiscal year to support the life-changing opportunities Arcadia provides its students. This marks a 25 percent increase from the previous fiscal year—an additional $1 million raised.

“Our community has demonstrated a caring for Arcadia by leaning in to join us on a restorative journey to build the philanthropic outcomes for Arcadia University,” said Vice President for Development and Alumni Engagement Brigette A. Bryant. “It is all of us, collectively, who play an important role in protecting the Beaver College legacy and preparing the University for its bright future. I am extraordinarily grateful for the outpouring of support from our alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends. When we all act together, it makes such an incredible difference for Arcadia.”

Through May’s Let’s Finish #ArcadiaStrong fundraising initiative, which used “One month. One community. One hundred thousand dollars.” to emphasize the power of one community, the University community donated more than $100,000 to The Fund for Arcadia in the final 31 days of the fiscal year.
