Arcadia University is pleased to announce that it has transitioned into Tier 1 status of our COVID Operational Tiers. This transition is due to several factors, including the success of our mitigation measures, the increase in the percentage of vaccinations for University community members, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania lifting the mask mandate on June 28, and COVID positivity rates and hospitalizations declining dramatically and remaining very low. 

There are no mask requirements on campus, indoors or outdoors. As a measure of personal responsibility and shared safety, those who would like to continue wearing masks are encouraged to do so. While in Tier 1, more departments and services at Arcadia shift closer to normal operations without as many mitigation measures.  

Arcadia believes the best path for this safe return to full student and campus engagement in the fall is to maximize the percentage of our community members who are fully vaccinated. Students should upload their COVID vaccine record to Arcadia’s Patient Portal. Employees who are fully vaccinated are to upload their vaccine records to the iSolved platform.
