Over 90 Organizations, Employers to Recruit at Arcadia’s 2023 Internship and Career Fair on Feb. 8

By Dan DiPrinzio | January 23, 2023

The Office of Career Education will host the annual Internship and Career Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 8, from noon to 3 p.m. in the Kuch Center Alumni Gym.

All students and alumni are welcome to attend and should register online here, though registration is not required. However, a name tag will be printed for those who register. Plus, the first 200 students to pre-register and attend will be automatically entered into raffles for Amazon gift cards!

The fair will feature approximately 90 organizations recruiting for internships and full-time positions. Additionally, representatives from Arcadia’s graduate admissions team will be on hand to talk with students interested in continuing their education here after graduation.

Here are some tips from the Office of Career Education about how to prepare for the fair and what to expect when you arrive:

  1. Dress to make a positive impression.
  2. Have your resume reviewed by a Career Peer Advisor before the fair.
  3. Research employers. Recruiters ask students how familiar they are with their organization.
  4. Bring copies of your resume to give to organizations.
  5. Visit the LinkedIn photo booth at the fair for a professional headshot.

A Pop Up Shop will open on Tuesday, Feb. 7, from noon to 2 p.m. on the first floor of the Commons to purchase a great look from the affordable resale boutique Twelve 23.

“Since employers are eager to connect with students, we don’t want professional attire to restrict students from exploring and learning about options for their future,” said Marissa Deitch, Arcadia’s executive director of Career Education.

After the fair, Students are encouraged to chat with organizations at a networking reception from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Commons Great Room. This event, called the Diversity and Inclusion Career Connection, will allow students to make meaningful connections with recruiters dedicated to hiring students from diverse backgrounds. This event will include desserts and warm beverages. Students interested in attending this event should sign up at the link above and below.
