Arcadia Students Present at National Conference

Eight Arcadia University honors students presented research at the National Collegiate Honors Conference (NCHC) in November for a range of topics , including medical advances, scholarly publication, and gender, and sexuality.

  • Brianna Kiesel ’16: “Medical Advances in Understanding and Treating Patients Infected with Naegleria fowerli”
  • Christine Pape ’17: “Arcadia University: A Chance to Help Write History”
  • Emily Radman ’16: “The Compass: The Logistics of an Online Scholarly Journal”
  • Greta Diem ’16: “Virginity, Promiscuity and Victimization: Gendered Sexuality through Media Images” and “Celebrating Cultures: Using Leadership Skills to Revitalize Engagement”
  • Tessa Paige ’18: “Arcadia University’s ‘More than a Label’ Conference,” and “Arcadia University: A Chance to Help Write History”
  • Zach See ’13 (graduate student): “Arcadia University: A Chance to Help Write History”

“[The conference was an] exciting opportunity to meet with other honors students from around the country and see what they’ve been working on,” said Diem, Honors Council president. “It was an amazing opportunity provided by the Honors Program and I cannot encourage strongly enough that other students to apply for NCHC 2016 in Seattle.”
