Arcadia University again ranks highly in the U.S. News & World Report

September 12, 2022 – Arcadia University is ranked 48th overall in the category Regional Universities North in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges 2023” edition, which was released today.

The ranking puts the University among the top 27 percent of schools in the category, which comprises 181 institutions. Arcadia is also the 6th-ranked school in its category in Pennsylvania.

Among Regional Universities North, Arcadia also placed 48th in Social Mobility, an impressive jump of 24 spots from 2022, and 22nd in Undergraduate Teaching, after being unranked in the category last year.

The University placed 9th nationally among all colleges and universities for Study Abroad.

“These rankings recognize what we at Arcadia have long known,” said University President Ajay Nair, Ph.D. “We are an outstanding choice for students seeking an exceptional educational experience that gives them unparalleled global opportunities and positions them to succeed in their careers and their lives.”

In U.S. News’s graduate rankings, released earlier in the year, the publication named Arcadia’s programs in Public Health and Education among the best in the country. The Public Health grad program was ranked among the top such programs nationally and sixth in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, while graduate Education placed in the top programs nationally for the third consecutive year.

Additionally, in its most recent rankings, U.S. News placed the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program in the top 10 percent in the country, and the Physician Assistant (PA) program 46th nationally.

In late August, Arcadia was ranked among the Princeton Review’s “Best Northeastern” schools for the eighth straight year.
