Start of Semester Message from Dean Goretsky

By Caitlin T. Burns | September 2, 2020

Hello Students,

I want to wish you good luck as you have started the semester. As we start the semester, there are a few things I’d like to share with you.

Part II of the Fall Activities Fair is Thursday, Sept. 3 from 3 to 6 p.m. You can find more information on KnightLife. Please engage with the Fair and learn how to get involved this semester.

Additional information about student organizations and events can be found on KnightLife. While on KnightLife checkout the Community and Civic Engagement Center page. Arcadia is a University that values service and community development. You can find virtual ways to share your time and talents on the CCEC KnightLife page.

On Monday, a campus message was sent with information about Counseling Services and Student Health Services. You can find that message here.

Student Affairs has created a new exciting work study position, Digital Engagement Specialist. These students will facilitate conversations on topics of interest with groups of students called UKnighted Communities of Interest (UCIs). These are opportunities for new students to connect with other new and returning students around areas of common interest. If you have work study and would like to apply for this role, please fill out this form.

Thank you and have a great Fall 2020 semester.

Kind regards,
Andrew Goretsky, EdD
Dean of Students
