Arcadia students rocked the “knight” before parading down Easton Road for the Glenside Knight Food Truck Festival on Sept. 19.

The Arcadia community came out by the hundreds to the Rock the Knight celebration on Haber Green, where students raced to get free pretzels, pick up Arcadia swag, and enjoy the music blasting overhead.

“It’s a great way to start the semester with old friends and to make some new ones,” said Psychology major Christina Simard ’22.

The fun had only just begun when students, faculty, and staff gathered behind President Ajay Nair to march down to the annual food truck festival. There, the Arcadia community was able to sample food from more than 30 local food trucks and restaurants, dining al fresco and listening to live music from local bands.

“It’s a great way to get to know all the local restaurants near campus,” said Biology major Jess Rodgers ’22. “So when you’re hungry at midnight, you know just what to order.”
