Feb. 24: Asian American and Pacific Islander Mental Health Panel

On Thursday, Feb. 24, Arcadia University counseling servicesthe Office of Access, Diversity, and Inclusion, the AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) Resource group, and the AAPI group of Montgomery county will host a mental health panel to describe and discuss the difficulties surrounding treating mental health issues. Panelists identify as members of the AAPI community who are also mental health providers. 

Panelists Aparna Sagaram, Dr. Noel B Ramirez, Arlene G. Navarro, and Rujuta Chincholkar-Mandelia will discuss mental health stigma in the AAPI community and the barriers to individuals in the AAPI community in connecting to much needed care.

The event, which begins at 7 p.m., can be accessed via Zoom link.
