Trump-Inspired Courses Featured by Montgomery Media

“Hate Crimes” and “Fake News & the Post-Truth Era” were both highlighted by Montgomery Media as courses inspired by the Trump administration and current events.

“Hate Crimes” is a criminal justice course that provides information about hate crimes in the U.S. by examining the cause of these crimes and the resulting consequences to the community. The course provides students with international perspective by studying hate crimes in other countries. “Fake News & the Post-Truth Era” is a First-Year Seminar that analyzes media and current events to practice media and information literacy skills to become well-informed citizens.
